Please note: This itinerary assumes you are travelling via train from central London however we welcome runners from anywhere!
If you're driving, see below for parking details.
For those travelling via train from London Euston, we will aim to meet outside Caffè Ritazza at 08:15 and travel together.
If you are meeting us directly at the route start, find us at the smaller north entrance/exit of Berkhamsted station.
Trains & tickets
Please meet the Runaway team at the meeting point 15-20mins prior to departure.
Driving & parking
There is plenty of parking at Berkhamsted station car park.
Post run refreshments
If restrictions allow, join us post-run coffee. More details to be shared closer to the run.
If we can reserve an area we will, however we don’t formally book a table as this often requires a deposit/exact numbers. If the chosen pub/cafe is full or busy we will try somewhere else.
What to bring
Trail running shoes
Wear appropriate shoes for uneven terrain & muddy conditions!
Carry at least 500ml of water with you.
You're unlikely to forget this but please remember to fully charge it.
Bring an energy gel, bar or some sugar to help refuel during the run.
Running pack or bag
You'll need something like this to carry everything in.
A sun hat for warm weather or a warm hat for cold weather.
In cold or wet conditions please bring gloves.
Carry a small amount of cash, you never know when it will be useful.
Water reistant jacket
Always bring an extra layer or two in case the weather turns nasty.
