Evening Series - Amersham
The third and final run in our Chiltern Society evening series takes us to Amersham.

This run is organised in conjunction with the Chiltern Society, a charity dedicated to maintaining much of the beautiful trails we run on in the area.
We will embark on a 12k route heading out on the trails surrounding Amersham.
The route will be led by Chris & Tim, aiming to complete the 12km in approximately 1h15, finishing at the Mad Squirrel Taproom in Amersham.

Driving & parking
There is parking available at the train station.
Post run refreshments
We will have a post drink at the Mad Squirrel Taproom.
If we can reserve an area we will, however we don’t formally book a table as this often requires a deposit/exact numbers. If the chosen pub/cafe is full or busy we will try somewhere else.
What to bring
Trail running shoes
Wear appropriate shoes for uneven terrain & muddy conditions!
Carry at least 500ml of water with you.
You're unlikely to forget this but please remember to fully charge it.
Bring an energy gel, bar or some sugar to help refuel during the run.
Running pack or bag
You'll need something like this to carry everything in.
A sun hat for warm weather or a warm hat for cold weather.
In cold or wet conditions please bring gloves.
Carry a small amount of cash, you never know when it will be useful.
Water reistant jacket
Always bring an extra layer or two in case the weather turns nasty.
