  • Average pace

    6:00min/km (9:40min/mile)

During our medium paced runs the lead runner will average 6:00min/km (9:40min/mile)*.

For these runs it's important you have some experience running off road and are confident completing the distance at this pace.

*This pace will vary dependent on the terrain/elevation, so there are times when we go faster, slower & hike.

2 / 5

This run has a difficulty level of 2.

  • Elevation

    290 metres

Level 2 runs are a mixture of flat and undulating sections on runnable terrain.

Our difficulty level reflects the amount of elevation you will encounter on the route and a measure of how tough/technical the terrain is.

Please note: This itinerary assumes you are travelling via train from central London however we welcome runners from anywhere!

If you're driving, see below for parking details.

Meeting points

Euston

If you would like to travel together with the group, meet us outside Caffè Ritazza between 0940-0950.

If you have purchased train tickets on this website, we will have these for you to collect.

Route start

Please meet us in the main car park at Tring train station.

Please meet the Runaway team at the meeting point 15-20mins prior to departure.

There is parking directly at Tring train station, this does cost a whopping £6, so to avoid this you can find free parking at

  • Beggars Lane (5 min walk)
  • Anywhere in Aldbury (15 min walk back to the start, but we do finish the run here)

We'll be hitting up The Greyhound Inn for a post-run drink.

If we can reserve an area we will, however we don’t formally book a table as this often requires a deposit/exact numbers. If the chosen pub/cafe is full or busy we will try somewhere else.
