Terms

On this page we outline some simple terms which we keep to to make our business sustainable and to provide maximum safety to all runners.

Get in touch if you have a question 🙂

Coronavirus terms

  1. Runaway Adventures Limited take no responsibility for any contraction of COVID 19 while participating in an event with us.
  2. We reserve the right to request any runner to leave immediately if they show signs of COVID 19.
  3. Runners are required to stay the government recommended distance away from others, who are not in your group/household while on participating in the event. This applies both to other runners and members of the public.
  4. You may be required to open and close gates on route. Please take appropriate precautions, such as wearing gloves or bringing hand sanitiser with you.

Payment & refunds

  1. All events must be paid for in full prior to the adventure itself.

  2. Your payment is fully refundable for 24 hours after it has been made.

  3. After the 24 hour grace period we no longer provide refunds*. If a reasonable amount of notice is given we are would be happy to defer your entry to another event.

  4. If the event has to be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions your entry will be returned to you in credit to be used on a future run.

*As the majority of events we organise have limited space, providing refunds encourages drop outs and leads to other runners missing out. We believe the policy we operate is fair and in the interest of all runners.

Runner responsibilities

  1. Before attending a social run you must check you are able to run at the advertised pace.

  2. When in attendance of a social run you are required to follow the instructions of the run leader at all times.

  3. The run leader will warn and stop the group at any roads crossings, however it is your own responsibility to check for traffic and cross the road safely.

  4. You are responsible for your own safety whilst running and understand the risks associated with running on off-road terrain.

  5. You must always follow The Countryside code.
