This is the 4th run in a series of six canicross runs across January-March.

An extension of the popular smaller route from our Autumn series. We will take in the nearby Chicksands wood along with the brilliant Rowney Warren Wood.

This run is 12.8km in distance and as there is not cafe we will provide treats from The Green Foodies Kitchen at the finish.

Level 2 runs are a mixture of flat and undulating sections on runnable terrain.

Our difficulty level reflects the amount of elevation you will encounter on the route and a measure of how tough/technical the terrain is.

Meeting points

We will meet in the Sandy Lane car park at Rowney Warren Wood.

You will also be emailed meeting point details prior to the run.

You can check your route to the meeting point using the links below.

There is no cafe at Rowney Warren Wood so there will be treats provided by The Green Foodies Kitchen at the finish.

If we can reserve an area we will, however we don’t formally book a table as this often requires a deposit/exact numbers. If the chosen pub/cafe is full or busy we will try somewhere else.

Trail running shoes

Wear appropriate shoes for uneven terrain & muddy conditions!

Water

Carry at least 500ml of water with you.

Phone

You're unlikely to forget this but please remember to fully charge it.

Snacks

Bring an energy gel, bar or some sugar to help refuel during the run.

Running pack or bag

You'll need something like this to carry everything in.

Hat

A sun hat for warm weather or a warm hat for cold weather.

Gloves

In cold or wet conditions please bring gloves.

Cash

Carry a small amount of cash, you never know when it will be useful.
